Buying and selling

Open a token from Launches, connect your wallet, and use the Trade box on the right.

Buy

Enter how much SOL (or USDC) to spend. The box shows about how many tokens you'll get and the fee. Press Buy and approve in your wallet.

Sell

Switch to Sell, enter how many tokens to sell (or Max), check the SOL you'll get, and approve.

Why the price moves

There's no order book. The price comes from the curve: every buy moves it up, every sell moves it down. The bigger the trade compared to what's on the curve, the more the price moves during your own trade, so large trades get a worse average price than small ones.

Slippage

Between seeing a quote and your transaction landing, someone else may trade first. Max slippage (0.5%, 1%, 2%, or your own, up to 50%) is how much worse than the quote you'll accept. If the price has moved further than that, the trade fails and nothing changes hands; you only pay the small network fee.

Right before sending, the app re-reads the curve and quotes again, so the limit is set from the latest price.

The anti-sniper fee

If the launch uses an anti-sniper fee, the token page shows the fee now, which falls over time to the normal fee. Quotes use the chain's own clock, so what you see is what the program will charge. Waiting a little can make a big difference in the first minutes.

The last buy before graduation

If your buy is bigger than what's left on the curve, it fills only up to graduation and you pay only for what was used. The rest of your SOL stays in your wallet. The trade box warns you when a buy will complete the curve.

After graduation

Once a token has graduated, its curve is closed and the trade box goes away. The token keeps trading in its Meteora pool, which you can use on Meteora or on apps that route through it, such as Jupiter.

Chart and trades

The chart and the trade list come from Unbound's indexer, which follows every launch on chain. New trades show up within about ten seconds.

Always check you're on the right token: anyone can launch a token with any name. The mint address on the token page is the one thing that can't be copied.
